In the glowing ruins of Cyclone City, lowlife thugs and religious swindlers inject themselves with living Story to mutate their bodies into killing machines. Warring factions of Yakuza and luchadores battle for control of synthetic realities while mushroom intelligences make their moves to conquer the spirit world.

And to make matters worse, a cosmic serpent has circled the globe, preparing to unhinge its jaw and swallow the dying world whole.

Against this backdrop we follow a warrior monk with a talking sword, a lonely deer-headed man in a mech suit, and a pyrokinetic contract killer on their paths to find meaning and friendship in the face of certain death.

Their adventures will take you through rodeo massacres, body-harvesting euthanasia clinics, and haunted farming simulators, facing off against giant mutant babies and glory-hole assassins as their stories converge on an apocalyptic confrontation with a techno-fungal god.
